IT News on October 1st: NVIDIA released a security update driver 582.78 on the 30th local time, applicable to Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta architecture graphics cards, covering the GTX 700 series, GTX 900 series, GTX 10 series graphics cards, as well as Tesla V100 and Titan V professional cards.

According to IT, NVIDIA will no longer release regular Game Ready driver updates for the aforementioned graphics cards, but will still occasionally provide security updates. This update is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, and has a size of 912.74 MB.

At the same time, this update fixed 114 vulnerabilities related to display drivers and vGPU. Most of these vulnerabilities directly affected graphics card drivers, including 76 high-risk vulnerabilities and 37 medium-risk vulnerabilities.

In addition, this driver update is applicable to the GeForce GTX 745, GTX 750, and GTX 750 Ti series, as well as the GTX 950-GTX 980, Ti, GTX 1050-GTX 1080, Ti, GT 1030, GT 1010 and other graphics cards; and also to the TITAN V, TITAN Xp, TITAN X, and GeForce GTX TITAN X professional graphics cards.
