NEAR focuses on quantum security, general markets, and confidentiality in TOKEN2049 Singapore AI
The post-quantum asset QTC of Robinhood Chain and Quantus Network has been launched on near.com and NEAR Intents; NEAR and Quantus co-host " Quantum & Privacy Day "
San Francisco, October 13, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- NEAR, which provides open infrastructure for the proxy economy, stated that during its presence in Singapore TOKEN2049, the company focused on AI and financial privacy, quantum security, as well as AI proxy infrastructure, and simultaneously advanced a series of releases and integrations. NEAR mentioned that during the event period, the post-quantum assets of Robinhood Chain and Quantus Network were launched on near.com and NEAR Intents. NEAR also co-hosted " Quantum & Privacy Day " with Quantus.
On the main stage of TOKEN2049, co-founder Illia Polosukhin delivered a keynote speech, elaborating on his views regarding AI which is “intrinsically confidential” by default, and finance. He also participated in a discussion with Jesse Pollak from Base and Tarun Chitra, the CEO of Gauntlet. The topic of the discussion was what role blockchain and stablecoins will play as AI agents begin to conduct autonomous transactions. NEAR stated that during an interview with The Rollup during the event week, he described NEAR Intents as “the market of markets” and introduced the vision of near.com, including how the tokenized assets market will migrate onto the blockchain.
According to NEAR, Robinhood Chain is now live on near.com. Users can exchange popular Robinhood assets for over 180 types of assets across more than 30 chains. They can also deposit, withdraw, and make payments to Robinhood Chain without the need to manually use bridging tools or download new applications, or perform corresponding operations from Robinhood Chain.
NEAR indicates that Robinhood Chain is also provided through NEAR Intents; therefore, wallets and applications that connect to NEAR Intents can offer their users the same access capabilities.
The post-quantum asset QTC under Quantus Network has also been launched on near.com as well as in the 1Click Swap API of NEAR Intents. It allows for confidential transactions on over 30 different chains and supports real-time deposit and withdrawal interactions with the Quantus network, as indicated by NEAR.
According to NEAR, on October 8th, NEAR and Quantus jointly hosted " Quantum & Privacy Day ". Developers from across the industry gathered together to discuss what is actually needed for post-quantum security: which signature schemes are still effective, how to carry out migrations, in which steps privacy will be compromised, and which participants will still be exposed to risks as cryptography evolves.
NEAR indicates that the speakers at the event include Balaji Srinivasan, Zcash founder Zooko Wilcox, Bitwise Chief Executive Officer Hunter Horsley, Dragonfly Managing Partner Haseeb Qureshi, and Bankless Co-founder David Hoffman; in addition, there are Quantus Co-founder Christopher Smith, NEAR Co-founder Illia Polosukhin, as well as Defuse Labs Chief Executive Officer Alex Shevchenko. Defuse Labs is the developer of NEAR Intents. The Rollup provided live coverage of the event on that day.
According to NEAR, this event reflects that the entire industry is discussing how to prepare blockchain for quantum computing. NEAR has taken quantum computing into consideration since its design in 2018. NEAR accounts currently support post-quantum ML-DSA signature schemes on the mainnet, and there is no need for asset migration.
NEAR indicates that these releases this week come shortly after third-party analyses of the development momentum of NEAR. The report NEAR in Plain English released by Bitwise describes NEAR Protocol as “a fast and low-cost settlement engine capable of supporting commercial activities on a AI scale,” and mentions that the cumulative trading volume of NEAR Intents has exceeded $30 billion. Delphi Digital states that after setting Hyperliquid perpetual contracts to confidential transactions in NEAR, NEAR Intents recorded its best monthly handling fees so far this year in September. Grayscale describes NEAR as a “proxy-based business platform”; meanwhile, Bitwise NEAR ETF ( NRR ) ranked among the top ten in terms of managed asset size among the 107 ETF launched in the United States in September, according to NEAR.
On October 6th as well, NEAR held another Happy Hour event, targeting developers, investors, and partners within its ecosystem.
NEAR indicates that after the completion of TOKEN2049, the company will continue to advance its work in private AI as well as in financial and quantum security infrastructure in the last quarter of 2026. Regarding NEAR:
NEAR indicates that NEAR is a platform that provides open infrastructure for the proxy economy. Its vertically integrated technology stack connects NEAR Intents for general liquidity, NEAR AI for confidential and verifiable AI, as well as a sharded blockchain infrastructure that can scale to over 1 million transactions per second. near.com serves as the unified front-end for NEAR: one account, more than 30 chains, along with confidential cross-chain exchanges, perpetual contracts, RWA, and yield services. NEAR signifies that, with over $30 billion in cross-chain transaction volume and integrations with Abound, Brave Nightly, the Bermuda government, OpenMind, Venice AI, and others, NEAR is becoming a place for proxy transactions.
