Tesla has just released the returned Roadster.

Sounds familiar? Indeed it should.

On Thursday, CEO Elon Musk unveiled the latest version of Tesla's flagship sports car and stated that the electric vehicle manufacturer is considering starting production in 2028.

This is also the company's second time showcasing a prototype vehicle, and they stated that it will continue to use the name Roadster. In 2017, Musk released a model with a more streamlined design, but distinctly different from this one, known as Roadster.

In 2017, the version in question merely made its appearance on stage, stopped next to Elon Musk, then burned its tires in place before speeding away. In 2028, however, on a track far enough away from the audience, it managed to drive up a vertical wall, hang upside down in mid-air, and subsequently completed a maneuver of leaping over a row of Tesla cars with a stunning display of "kick flip".

It seems that if product development could continue for another nine years, many things would change.

There have been many changes in the underlying mechanics and technology of the Roadster, which has also led to changes in the vehicle parameters. Therefore, we have compiled a chart to compare the promises of the older version of Tesla's Roadster with those of the new version Roadster.

The following are our findings:

Tesla submits report showing that its driver assistance system was activated Model Y before the fatal accident in the United States
According to Electrek, a report on the accident submitted by Tesla to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) indicates that in August of this year, a 2021 model Model Y in New Jersey was in a state of "confirmed activation" of its driving assistance systems prior to a fatal collision. The report did not disclose whether the specific system that was activated was Autopilot or FSD, and details such as the accident description, software version, and road conditions were obscured by Tesla on the grounds that they constituted "confidential business information."
