Pigment Announces Completion of $250 Million Series E Financing, with Post-Investment Valuation Reaching $2.3 Billion

This round of financing was led by Scaleup Europe Fund, which is managed by EQT. Existing investors such as WIL (a subsidiary of World Innovation Lab), as well as Greenoaks, token issuer NIQ, IVP, and Meritech also participated. NVIDIA also plans to make an investment. The company stated that this funding will accelerate its progress towards autonomous planning and enable it to serve enterprises around the world.

Pigment indicates that this financing occurred after the company made milestone progress. The company stated that its annual recurring revenue (ARR) exceeded $100 million earlier this year and once again doubled year-over-year. Pigment also indicates that the adoption of its AI is accelerating, with 85% of the new metrics in Pigment currently being created by Agent. This financing will help the company continue to expand on this momentum and enter new regions.

The company stated that Pigment has quickly become the preferred platform for large enterprises, with clients including Danone, DirecTV, Siemens, Snowflake, ServiceNow, and Unilever, and it is replacing traditional systems. Pigment also mentioned that organizations known for their AI and engineering capabilities, such as Anthropic, ElevenLabs, and Uber, are also using it as their enterprise data inference runtime.

Pigment, co-founder; El, onore; Crespo and Romain Niccoli state: "In the coming years, corporate planning will change more significantly than in the past thirty years. Traditional tools are being left behind, and the world's most advanced AI companies are now using Pigment for their planning. With the support of investors, we are advancing rapidly to make autonomous planning a reality for every enterprise. As AI runs planning workflows end-to-end and transforms decisions into action, companies can respond as quickly as changes occur."

These $250 million in funds will significantly accelerate the research and development of Pigment, and will also drive the expansion of the engineering team, with a focus on their proprietary computing engine Graphite for which patents are being applied for, as well as the AI agent that runs on top of it.

Pigment indicates that the capabilities of AI agents depend on the underlying engine. Graphite has already enabled thousands of AI agents and personnel to collaborate simultaneously on the same governance model, and it can be scaled to tens of billions of data points, with results that are deterministic and fully traceable. The company claims that this is the foundation for achieving autonomous planning: only when every number generated by the agents is accurate and every action is traceable can we trust them to run planning workflows and take actions based on that information. With this financing, Pigment will continue to advance Graphite to handle larger and more complex workloads, while also expanding its agent capabilities from building models and analyzing data to end-to-end operation of planning workflows.

EQT and Scaleup Europe Fund, the Managing Directors, Shannee Braun stated: "In most companies, the most comprehensive picture of the actual operations of the enterprise is found in their planning. Pigment has established this foundation through a platform that connects financial, sales, and human resources planning, and allows AI to work on it, helping teams to complete modeling, analysis, and action within hours rather than months. El é onore and Romain have turned it into a global leader from Paris, which is precisely the original intention of Scaleup Europe Fund.
