Los Angeles, October 22, 2026 ( GLOBE NEWSWIRE ) – Through IBN – Nightfood Holdings , Inc . ( OTCQB : NGTFD , hereinafter referred to as “ Nightfood ” or “the Company”) , which operates under the name of TechForce Robotics , today announces the acquisition of specific technologies, designs, and proprietary knowledge related to automated optical inspection ( automated optical inspection , hereinafter referred to as “ AOI ”) equipment for advanced semiconductor packaging on chip packaging substrates ( chip-on-wafer-on-substrate , abbreviated as “ CoWoS ”). This acquisition comes from Jun Long Machine Industrial Co in Taichung City, Taiwan, Ltd ., and was completed on October 19, 2026.

Nightfood will grant an exclusive license for the acquired technology to its wholly-owned subsidiary TechForce Advanced Manufacturing Inc (“TAMI”), which plans to manufacture and sell devices that incorporate this technology.

Commercialization Plan

The company's current commercialization goals include:

  • Initial sales and shipments are expected to begin at the end of November or early December 2026, provided that a planned manufacturing facility of 20,000 square feet located in Taiwan is ready for production, and at the same time, it must meet customer requirements and applicable regulatory compliance standards.
  • The initial production rate is about 10 to 15 units per month; assuming all of these devices are sold and delivered, with an average selling price of approximately $150,000 per unit, the monthly sales revenue would be around $1.5 million to $2.25 million. The pricing assumptions made by management reflect their judgment of the current market prices for similar devices.
  • Subsequently, it will be gradually increased to about 30 units per month, but this depends on customer demand, financing, factory readiness, staffing, and the supply of parts.

The company stated that these figures are merely management targets for operations and do not represent confirmed orders or guaranteed revenues. Actual sales will depend on product configuration, negotiated prices, customer orders, delivery schedules, and any applicable installation or acceptance requirements. Revenues will be recognized in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles in the United States. The monthly sales targets do not constitute forecasts for the first incomplete shipment month.

Nightfood Holdings CEO Jimmy Chan stated: "We believe that supporting the advanced packaging requirements of AI chips creates opportunities for testing equipment that can meet the ever-changing manufacturing demands. This acquisition provides us with the foundation in design and technical expertise to seize this opportunity. Our current focus is on preparing for production, securing customer orders, and delivering the first batch of equipment."

Lever Talent Research finds: 45% of medium-sized enterprises do not have a designated person in charge to coordinate collaboration between humans and AI
Lever Talent released the "Collaborative Intelligent Workforce Report: 2026 Baseline," which states that among 484 executives from medium-sized companies in the United States and Canada surveyed, 45% of the companies do not have a single person responsible for coordinating the collaboration between humans and AI; companies that have a primary person in charge are more likely to consider AI to be "extremely valuable." The report also points out that although the adoption rate of AI is high, the perceived value is still low, and companies that invest simultaneously in technology, projects, and personnel are more likely to achieve higher value.
