Las Vegas, October 28 (Reuters) / PRNewswire / -- CONNECTIONS CONFERENCE -- Guidewire (New York Stock Exchange ticker: GWRE) Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Innovation Awards: Beazley, Definity, and RCIS. This year's awards recognize the innovations of Guidewire customers in addressing changing business needs, providing a better experience for customers and agents, and delivering better results throughout the entire insurance lifecycle. The list of winners was announced during the Guidewire Connections – the company's annual customer conference.

The winners of the 2026 Three-Innovations Award are:

1. Beazley

Advancing modernization in product development, broker insurance applications, and billing is helping Beazley to improve speed and efficiency, and laying the foundation for growth.

Beazley is a leading Lloyd's underwriting association and a global professional insurance company. It is transforming its policy management and billing capabilities through a modern, interconnected Guidewire Cloud platform. While maintaining the flexibility required for local market differences, it is also establishing a consistent global foundation. Beazley has collaborated with Guidewire Consulting, its global strategic partner Capgemini, to implement Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter; the European solution was delivered in about eight months.

This project addressed the significant complexities in Beazley's global professional insurance business, including integrating over 200 sellable products into a more streamlined and simplified set of offerings, thereby reducing complexity and accelerating time to market. The AI enabled delivery model of Capgemini combined with Advanced Product Designer ( APD ) of Guidewire to establish a repeatable "product factory" approach, enabling rapid product development.

This transformation also utilizes Guidewire Integration Gateway to connect the numbers and brokerage platforms of Beazley with their core underwriting operations, and employs API and event-driven integration to support brokers' insurance application processes, as well as customer and account data management and policy services. Combined with modern billing capabilities, this approach creates a more interconnected digital insurance lifecycle and facilitates the evolution of Beazley towards an underwriting model with greater AI capabilities.

These capabilities provide a scalable modern core system for Beazley, simplifying the underlying technical architecture, while supporting higher levels of automation, product agility, and continuous growth in the global professional insurance market.

2. Definity

Definity has launched its first production environment-based proxy AI solution, which is used to manage and divert the entry of initial loss notifications (FNOL) from brokers. It replaces manual data re-entry with structured draft claims processing and directly generates content for review by claims adjusters within Guidewire.

This solution was jointly developed by Definity and Guidewire Consulting in collaboration with our global excellence partner Deloitte. It utilizes the AI proxy network to classify, extract relevant information from submitted content, and execute workflows, directly generating structured draft claims in ClaimCenter. It provides a governed and traceable path for processing from AI to claim operations, ensuring that claim adjusters are always involved throughout the process. At the same time, it reduces manual workload and improves speed and consistency.

In addition to modernizing the FNOL input process, this project has also laid an extensible foundation for deploying reusable and governed proxy-based AI capabilities throughout the Definity claims settlement process, accelerating future innovation.

3. RCIS

RCIS In the transformation of agricultural insurance technology, it relies on Guidewire InsuranceSuite, Jutro Digital Platform, data, and AI to prioritize innovation and modernize operations. Agricultural insurance is one of the most complex and strictly regulated segments of the insurance industry.

As part of its “Passion for the Possible ™” initiative, RCIS has hired Guidewire Consulting, its global strategic partner PwC, to transform its legacy environment into a modern, unified platform driven by Guidewire Cloud Platform, providing a better digital experience for agents, underwriters, claims adjusters, and customers.

With the vision of driving technological upgrades, enhancing usability, and providing a modern customer experience, RCIS and PwC leverage Guidewire Advanced Product Designer ( APD ), digital capabilities, and AI priority projects to accelerate the delivery of highly customized crop insurance solutions. The transformation includes complex legacy data migration, integration of geographic spatial farm maps, automation of risk management bureau ( RMA ) regulatory reporting, as well as simplification of core insurance operations, while maintaining business continuity during critical agricultural seasons. RCIS is one of the largest crop insurance providers in the United States and is also one of the 12 approved insurance providers for the federal crop insurance program ( AIP ). It is also the only provider that offers coverage in all 50 states of the United States through a network of over 3,700 agents nationwide ( AIP ).

It is expected that the transformation of RCIS's Guidewire will set a new benchmark in the agricultural industry and even throughout the insurance sector – by combining Guidewire Cloud innovation, profound industry expertise, and AI priority projects, to accelerate transformation and bring measurable commercial value.
