SafePaaS launches Identity360 to enhance identity visibility, permission tracking, and AI governance
The product was announced at its third CISO Cybersecurity Summit held in Santa Clara, aimed at helping security teams track identities and permissions from both connected and unconnected sources.
Santa Clara, California, USA, October 29th / PRNewswire / -- Federal Identity Governance Corporation SafePaaS announced the launch of Identity360 ™ at the CISO Cybersecurity Summit held in Santa Clara today. This product integrates identity records with access risk information to help organizations identify overlooked accounts, understand who holds privileged access rights, and establish governance mechanisms for human identities and AI proxies.
Security teams often cannot have a complete list of all identities within an enterprise. Accounts from self-built systems, smaller applications, and data sources that are not part of the existing governance processes may go unnoticed by monitoring. As enterprises adopt AI proxies, they also need to be aware of which proxies exist, what permissions these proxies have, and which business systems they can access. Identity visibility and intelligent platforms (such as IVIP) – like SafePaaS – are designed to meet the growing need to integrate identity visibility and provide operational intelligence to prioritize access risks associated with both human and non-human identities.
Identity360 ™ allows for the aggregation of identity information from connected systems as well as unconnected sources that are within its scope into a unified view. It integrates information from Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Identity Governance, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and Human Resources systems. By mapping identities to their source accounts and assigned permissions, it helps teams track access, investigate privileged accounts, and identify gaps in governance coverage.
The searchable list brings together identity types, source systems, recent activities, risk scores, and unresolved governance gaps. Teams can investigate dormant accounts, shared access, and excessive permissions, and use risk indicators to prioritize their actions.
For organizations that use AI, establishing this visibility is the first step towards building an identity network that will incorporate AI proxies into monitoring and control processes. Traceability helps security teams to associate the identities of proxies with their permissions and determine where supervision is needed.
SafePaaS, the Deputy Director of Product Management, stated: "The security team needs to know what identities there are, where they come from, and what access permissions they possess. This also includes AI proxies. Incorporating identities and permissions into a traceable view lays the foundation for organizations to monitor access and implement controls as their AI applications grow."
