Taipei, October 29, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd. ( Foxconn ) ( TWSE : 2317), the world's largest electronics manufacturer and leading AI server supplier, confirmed its industry leadership in "token factory" solutions on Friday. For the first time, it showcased in full the system components and technologies that support the next generation of AI infrastructure, while also highlighting its long-term partnerships.
At the 7th Annual Hon Hai Technology Day 2026 ( HHTD26 ), Hon Hai demonstrated its global advantages in vertical integration and precision manufacturing. These capabilities support its work around the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform, ranging from the complete integration of rack-level AI supercomputing systems to sub-micron level component manufacturing technology.
Hon Hai introduced two new initiatives for the first time: NVIDIA DSX POD – a standardized, factory-preintegrated reference design that allows partners to pre-integrate rack-level NVIDIA Vera Rubin AI infrastructure into modular containers. Critical verifications can be completed before shipment, and after delivery, the units can be connected to the prepared on-site infrastructure. This setup becomes the focal point at the site, welcoming visitors. Additionally, a customer area featuring photos of key moments and an important technical timeline pays tribute to the behind-the-scenes partnerships that have always inspired the imagination of the tech industry.
Hon Hai Chairman Terry Gou stated: "Hon Hai is transforming into a technology manufacturing platform service provider. From testing to actual implementation, our vertical integration and precision manufacturing make the impossible possible. We are building this capability around ecosystems ranging from smart consumer electronics to AI and electric vehicles, as well as aerospace and robotics."
Of the 321 products exhibited at HHTD26, a record-breaking quarter belong to the Token Factory special zone. "Extreme Co-Design" features a 20-meter-long display wall showcasing circuit boards equipped with tens of thousands of micron-level precision components; a AI server computing tray design that is cable-free, pipe-free, and fan-free, and is completed in a single generation; the next major trend of AI – co-packaged optics ( CPO ); as well as power, cooling, and high-speed data solutions redesigned for more efficient AI infrastructure.
An immersive simulation of a AI data center demonstrates how computing, networking, power supply, and cooling are collaboratively designed to support the AI factory, which includes power supply for 800 VDC units. Visionbay.ai, a business unit under Hon Hai that specializes in AI supercomputers and cloud operations, along with NVIDIA Cloud partners, plan to design their facilities according to the NVIDIA DSX MaxLPS principles. This approach aims to maximize the performance per watt of the AI factory within a fixed energy budget and to optimize the configuration of computing, power supply, and cooling before construction begins.
On-site, NVIDIA, Google LLC and Schneider Electric discussed AI infrastructure; Honda R&D (Honda R & D Co Ltd) and Mitsubishi Electric Mobility (Mitsubishi Electric Mobility) discussed the next generation of electric mobility. The exhibits in HHTD26 that featured the most "embodied intelligence" were concentrated in the area dedicated to human-shaped robots, showcasing the growing potential of the ecosystem and presenting practical application cases of industrial products in the field of robotics.
Another highlight of the debut was that Hon Hai, leveraging its extensive experience in ultra-precision manufacturing processes and relying on its own machinery processing, material handling, and mold manufacturing equipment, established a precision manufacturing zone. There, they showcased the technologies involved in creating the single-hole stamping shells for the AI companion robot, Poketomo, as well as laptop computers.
Among all the exhibits, AI security is a common theme. The Hon Hai team demonstrated how the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety platform supports the security of intelligent entities in fields such as smart healthcare, intelligent manufacturing, robotics, and smart cities.
HHTD26 was held on October 30th and 31st at the 1st and 4th floors of Hall 1 of the Nangang Exhibition Center in Taipei. For the first time, this two-day annual conference introduced a Family Pavilion, allowing children to explore topics aimed at young people in an interactive manner, including sustainable development, mobility, smart factories, and smart cities.
