Atlanta, November 4th / PRNewswire / -- Yellow Card indicates that the company completed the acquisition of GoMoney Sociedade Prestadora de Servi ç os de Ativos Virtuais Ltda in October. GoMoney is a virtual asset service provider based in Brazil.

GoMoney has submitted an application to the Central Bank of Brazil ( Banco Central do Brasil , BCB ), seeking authorization to operate as a virtual asset service provider ( sociedade prestadora de servi ç os de ativos virtuais ) in accordance with Law No. 14,478/2022 and Resolution BCB No. 519/2025. Since the complete authorization application is still subject to review and approval by BCB , GoMoney is currently operating under the transitional regime applicable to virtual asset service providers in Brazil.
Yellow Card indicates that this acquisition enables the company to establish direct operations in Brazil, thereby strengthening its presence in Latin America and advancing its broader strategy to expand its global financial infrastructure network. For Yellow Card customers, this acquisition adds local Real-based payment and collection services, including payments made through Pix, as well as stablecoin settlement; these services are supported by local providers and integrated into the fund management and liquidity services offered by Yellow Card in other markets.
Yellow Card, Co-Founder and CEO, stated: "To establish and operate a global financial infrastructure efficiently, it is necessary to comply with local frameworks, local payment networks, as well as local expertise and relationships." He added, "Over the past eight years, GoMoney has laid a solid foundation in Brazil, and integrating our businesses will help us provide greater value to our customers while accelerating the achievement of our long-term goals."
Chainalysis believes that Brazil is an important market for stablecoin financial services. According to data from Chainalysis, Brazil recorded $252.5 billion in cryptocurrency transactions between July 2025 and June 2026, making it the largest market in this field in Latin America. A report by Chainalysis also found that during the comparison period (2024-2026), stablecoin-related activities in Brazil increased by 495%, partly due to increased use by businesses, such as cross-border transfers and liquidity management.
GoMoney was established in 2018. After the transaction is completed, it will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Yellow Card and will continue to be managed by its founder.
GoMoney, Co-Founder and CEO, Maur and cio said: "Over the past eight years, we have been building a virtual asset service company in Brazil, focusing on using stablecoins as a tool for cross-border payments, which is exactly what Yellow Card has been doing in Africa and around the world over the same period. We are delighted to join the Yellow Card team and look forward to expanding our business in Brazil and throughout Latin America."
Yellow Card indicates that this acquisition takes place during a period of strong growth for the company. Previously, in August 2026, the company secured $40 million in financing, with investors including Standard Chartered Bank and Sony, among others; in addition, the company has recently obtained new registration and regulatory approvals in Canada, Switzerland, Nigeria, Ghana, and Zimbabwe. Looking to the future, Yellow Card plans to further deepen its presence in strategic markets, expand its product capabilities, and strengthen partnerships necessary to support global operations.
