New York, November 5th / PRNewswire / -- MPCH Today, we announce that we will collaborate with Socura, a hosting detection and response ( MDR ) service provider based in the UK, to test AI's authorized control platform ATLAS in the security operations of Socura.
Socura will use ATLAS for verification. The AI agent, which is used for threat detection and response, cannot take action without the authorization of a human operator, such as isolating devices, blocking users, or changing system settings.
MPCH indicates that this collaboration combines the expertise in cryptographic security of Socura with the practical experience of Socura in network security operations, in order to assess the ability of ATLAS to address emerging security challenges. MPCH states that the company, through its defense subsidiary Ti22, has a verifiable track record in protecting critical infrastructure and provides support for the U.S. Department of Defense as well as government agencies around the world. MPCH believes that this experience enables them to understand and provide solutions to meet the ever-changing needs in increasingly digitalized and distributed operational environments.
MPCH indicates that traditional network security mainly focuses on protecting systems and identifying malicious activities, but AI agents have evolved from answering questions to taking action, which presents a different challenge: how to ensure that no system can act without authorization. ATLAS addresses this gap by enforcing authorization before execution, helping organizations prevent unauthorized actions and maintaining human control at every level while accelerating the adoption of AI.
MPCH Introduction: ATLAS is a control layer that applies cryptographic authorization to proxy-based AI, and allows operators to define the boundaries of executable operations within the AI system. Its features include a "termination switch" that can stop an operation in progress if it exceeds these boundaries. ATLAS also supports cold signature approval, with keys being stored in a secure cryptographic location on an offline, isolated network. As a result, no AI system or remote attacker can authorize the most sensitive operations on their own. Human-defined permissions remain at the core of this process, and verifiable records can provide evidence for auditing and accountability.
MPCH, the founder and CEO, stated: " AI is changing the way organizations operate, but security and authorization cannot be considered afterwards. Collaborating with an experienced cybersecurity team like Socura allows us to test ATLAS in real operations and create a solution that organizations can rely on with confidence. Our goal is to ensure that we are solving actual security issues, rather than just staying at the theoretical level."
Socura CEO Andy Kays stated: "While supporting customers in various industries, we have witnessed firsthand the challenges organizations face when integrating AI into their operations. AI proxies pose a unique risk, as they may act beyond their authorized scope, thereby exposing sensitive data or disrupting critical operations."
Socura, the founder and Chief Technology Officer, Jamie Brummell added: "It is crucial to maintain human control over these actions. We believe that ATLAS has great potential in helping organizations implement these boundaries, and we are also delighted to collaborate with MPCH to explore how this approach can support a secure and accountable adoption of AI."
This collaboration marks an important step forward for ATLAS in implementing high-standard environments, and it also provides a practical use case for MPCH to apply this platform to the continuously evolving security needs of AI operations.
About MPCH
MPCH is a trusted third-party cybersecurity infrastructure company that provides high-assurance level cryptographic key management, operational continuity, and disaster recovery services for institutional-level tokenization, enterprises, and mission-critical environments. The MPCH platform integrates cold and hot key management, HSM integration, policy-based control, and a resilient offline capability architecture, all built on a zero-trust cryptography design. MPCH's defense subsidiary, Ti22, develops technologies to help governments and institutions adopt AI without sacrificing control or exposing their operations, thereby re-establishing human control and privacy over funds, proxies, and data. MPCH and Ti22 jointly provide cryptographic foundation protection for global institutions and national security infrastructure. For more information, please visit www.mpch.com.
