INSM links each network anomaly with in-depth asset intelligence; Risk Signal ™ transforms findings into verified remediation measures.

Munich, November 5th / PRNewswire / -- Industrial Defender, which provides OT network security services for critical infrastructure, today announced the launch of its latest platform version, featuring new internal network security monitoring ( INSM ) and Risk Signal ™, aimed at operators in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

This release combines the deep terminal visibility of Industrial Defender with network traffic monitoring, providing a single path for operators of OT / ICS from detection to priority-based repair.

This platform is in compliance with globally recognized frameworks such as IEC 62443 and NIST CSF. For organizations that need to enhance their security protections under regional requirements such as the EU's NIS2 directives and the technical network security controls operated by the Saudi Arabian National Cybersecurity Agency (NCA), it provides the necessary continuous visibility and risk-based action capabilities required for mature OT security projects.

Industrial Defender CEO George Kalavantis stated: "Network monitoring will alert you to any changes that occur. Our customers need to know what these changes mean and what the next steps should be."

INSM will learn the baseline communication patterns of each device and identify deviations such as new connections, unexpected protocols, abnormal traffic volumes, and unknown devices.

Each exception will be associated with the asset data maintained by Industrial Defender, including configuration changes, vulnerabilities, and risk scores, allowing operators to immediately understand the impact on their operations.

Every review decision is recorded with the reviewer, timestamp, and reasons.

INSM is applicable to industrial environments such as energy, oil and gas, petrochemicals, water services, and manufacturing.

Risk Signal: Prioritize fixing the most critical vulnerabilities

Detection is only half the work.

Risk Signal transforms assets, vulnerabilities, and network discoveries into actionable steps.

Based on the customer's existing risk model, it identifies patches and upgrades that can bring the greatest risk reduction at the lowest operational cost, and then packages them into a prioritized operation manual for use with the existing work management system.

After the repairs are completed, Risk Signal will verify whether each patch has been applied and update the risk rating of the assets.

Kalavantis signifies: "Our platform now connects online activities with the asset intelligence we have built over the past two decades, and Risk Signal transforms this insight into a defensible plan. This is the shortest path for critical infrastructure to move from visibility to risk reduction."

Why has the crypto market evaporated over $120 billion today?
Coinpedia reports that on Thursday, the total market value of cryptocurrencies decreased by over $120 billion from the previous day, falling to $2.57 trillion. Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana led the decline, with the report attributing it to geopolitical tensions, a broader bear market in AI stocks, and pressure from bulls; however, analysts Ali Martinez believe that this pullback may be in a "suspicious" phase of a bull market cycle and could see a recovery in the short term.
