According to CoinMeta, as reported by Kyrgyzstani media akchabar, Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Internal Affairs Ulan Niyazbekov stated that since 2026, the country's internal affairs authorities have initiated 90 criminal investigations involving cryptocurrencies, with cases covering online fraud, money theft, money laundering, and the transfer of criminal funds, among others. Niyazbekov also revealed that in 2025, while investigating a suspected transnational online fraud gang, the police discovered a TRON wallet holding over 3 million US dollars in digital assets on the suspect's device and used blockchain analysis tools to track the related funds.
