According to CoinMeta, the updated text of the Clear Act shows that there have been no changes to the provisions regarding ethics and stablecoin earnings requested by the Democrats. Compared to the negotiations during the August recess, key changes include: decentralized DEFI protocols must now register with CFTC; the DEFI clause is limited to spot or cash digital commodity transactions; credit cooperatives are explicitly authorized to handle cryptocurrencies. The ethics provisions remain unchanged, and the Democrats refer to these as their "transaction disruptors." The voting will take place in 4 days.
