BPI Reminds Users to Be Vigilant Against Phishing Emails
2026-09-11 09:12:06
According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Bitcoin Policy Institute ( BPI ) tweeted that recently someone has been impersonating their employees to send emails that may contain malicious links and attachments. These emails come from a domain name btcpolicyinstitute [.] org which is unrelated to BPI. BPI reminded that official employee emails only come from btcpolicy [.] org. Users are advised not to click on the links, open attachments, or reply to emails from senders with other domain names, and should report such emails as phishing attempts. Currently, there is no evidence indicating that the systems or employee emails of BPI have been compromised.
