According to CoinMeta, Bybit founder and CEO Ben Zhou stated that the company plans to launch a super app in Europe. Bybit has already obtained a cryptocurrency institution license from the Austrian Financial Market Authority and holds a MICA license that covers the EU market. It is expected to obtain a MiFID license within about two months as well. With this cryptocurrency institution license, users will be able to set up personal accounts with IBAN on Bybit in the future, which can be used to receive salaries, pay bills, and conduct local and third-party transfers, as well as use stablecoins and other crypto assets.
