Oracle stock rises 7% due to earnings exceeding expectations, AI cloud revenue grows by 121%

According to CoinMeta, Oracle's stock rose by about 7% after its financial report exceeded expectations, reaching $163.67. The company reported an adjusted earnings per share of $1.92 for the first quarter, which surpassed analysts' forecast of $1.74. Total revenue increased by about 30% year-on-year to $19.35 billion, also exceeding the market's expectation of $19.14 billion. Oracle's cloud infrastructure revenue surged by 121% year-on-year to $7.4 billion, with overall cloud revenue growing by 62% to $11.61 billion. In addition, Oracle signed cloud contracts worth over $30 billion this quarter, pushing the remaining performance obligations to $664 billion.
