According to CoinMeta, Wu said that Bitcoin treasury firm The Smarter Web Company has indicated plans to issue perpetual preferred shares denominated in pounds and listed on the main board of the London Stock Exchange after obtaining approval for its FCA prospectus and meeting the relevant listing conditions. The company currently holds 2,747 BTC, and these preferred shares could become the first of their kind issued by a British domestic commercial company adopting a Bitcoin treasury strategy, denominated in pounds and listed on the main board of the LSE.
