Analyst: Bitcoin shows a golden cross reversal, with the 50-day moving average falling below the 200-day moving average
2026-09-12 10:05:59
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Coin Bureau, the golden cross signal for Bitcoin reversed in less than a week, which is the first time this has occurred since November 2025. The 50-day moving average once again fell below the 200-day moving average, with Bitcoin prices dropping from $79,837 to $77,438. The probability of the Federal Reserve raising interest rates soared to 86% before next week's meeting. Historical data shows that this situation is not uncommon; golden cross signals often require multiple attempts to stabilize when they occur near closely spaced moving averages. The most recent three golden cross signals have led to increases in Bitcoin prices of 50%, 45%, and 60%, respectively.
