U.S. EIA crude oil inventories decrease by 640,000 barrels

According to CoinMeta and a report by Wall Street Journal, data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) shows that U.S. crude oil inventories decreased by 640,000 barrels last week. Bloomberg users expected inventories to increase by 2.1 million barrels, while analysts predicted a decrease of 1.55 million barrels, following a reduction of 391,000 barrels the previous week. In addition, after the U.S. stock market closed on September 15, data released by the American Petroleum Institute (API) indicated that U.S. crude oil inventories increased by 7.144 million barrels last week.
