According to CoinMeta and OneMillion.AI, the AI technology purchased by the US police has drawn attention. The Graylark of the US AI company has added an indoor positioning feature that allows users to find the corresponding property just by providing a photo of the room. During a demonstration, a photo of a washing machine and dryer taken from X was used to match a rental property in Charlotte, USA within seconds. When a photo of a bathroom was used, a property in California was located. Verification with 404 Media confirmed that the property names returned by the system indeed corresponded to real rental information. The technology also used Zillow property photos to identify the specific address of a residence in San Francisco from an indoor photo. It is mentioned that the short-term rental search covers millions of properties worldwide, while the query for regular residential addresses is only available in some cities. Although Airbnb states that the platform will remove location data from the photos and only successfully booked guests will see the full address, indoor photos may still expose the location of the properties. In February of this year, 404 Media confirmed based on internal police emails that both the Los Angeles Police Department and the Miami-Dade County Sheriff's Office have purchased this tool.
