Davern has over 30 years of experience in leading industrial and technology-intensive businesses. He has worked at National Instruments for nearly 30 years, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, CEO, and Director, and has helped the company expand its operations to more than 50 countries.
Davern also has over 20 years of experience serving on the boards of publicly traded companies, spanning the United States, Europe, and Canada. He currently holds the positions of Chairman of the Audit Committee at Cirrus Logic, Chairman of the Compensation Committee at Computer Modeling Group, and is a Director at Spectris. In the past, he has also served as the Chairman of the Board at ESI Group, Chief Independent Director at FARO Technologies, as well as a Director at Helen, of, Troy, and SigmaTel.
He holds a Bachelor of Business degree from the University College Dublin and a Professional Accounting Diploma.
