Verda and Compal expand global cooperation on AI infrastructure on GTC Berlin 2026
Compal capacity expansion and its infrastructure based on NVIDIA HGX B300 will support the deployment and development of cloud AI in global markets.
Berlin, October 22, 2026 / PRNewswire / -- Verda and Compal Electronics ( Compal ; TWSE : 2324) have expanded their cooperation to support the rapidly expanding dedicated infrastructure of Verda. Both parties will combine their expertise in cloud AI, with Compal's growing global manufacturing capabilities and advanced AI server engineering skills, and will showcase this collaboration at GTC Berlin in 2026. As the demand for AI computing continues to accelerate in European and global markets, the importance of this partnership is further enhanced.
As Verda expands its cloud AI capabilities, it has become increasingly crucial to be able to deploy infrastructure quickly and efficiently in different regions. Compal continues to invest in expanding its production network, including increasing capacity in Taichung Daxi in Taiwan and the United States, thereby enhancing its ability to support customers in areas near where infrastructure is deployed.
This global layout is an important advantage in Verda's expansion strategy. The deployment in the United States can be supported by local manufacturing there, while the additional production capacity of Compal in Daxi can support the growth of Verda in EMEA and Asia. This helps to enhance deployment flexibility, supply resilience, and speed, and promotes the expansion of Verda's AI infrastructure on a global scale.
