Verda and Compal Electronics ( Compal; TWSE : 2324) announce an expansion of their cooperation to support the rapid expansion of Verda AI's infrastructure. Both parties will combine the cloud expertise of Verda's AI with Compal's continuously expanding global manufacturing capabilities, as well as advanced AI server technology. They plan to highlight this collaboration in GTC Berlin 2026, as the demand for AI computing power continues to rise in European and global markets.

As Verda expands its AI cloud capacity, it has become increasingly important to be able to deploy infrastructure quickly and efficiently across regions. Compal continues to invest in expanding its manufacturing footprint, including adding new capacity in Daxi, Taiwan, and the United States, thereby enhancing its ability to provide support to customers in areas near where its AI infrastructure is deployed.

This global layout provides an important advantage for the expansion strategy of Verda. The deployment in the United States can be supported by local manufacturing there, while the expanded production capacity of Compal in Daxi helps to drive the growth of Verda in the EMEA region and Asia. This, in turn, enhances the flexibility of deployment, supply security, and speed in the process of Verda's global expansion of AI infrastructure.

Joint Expansion: From Advanced Computing to Global Deployment

The collaboration between Verda and Compal brings together the complementary strengths throughout the entire lifecycle of AI's infrastructure. Verda contributes its professional capabilities in cloud infrastructure, deployment, and operations, transforming advanced computing power into scalable AI cloud services. Compal provides technical expertise, manufacturing capabilities, and a global production network, enabling the transformation of the latest accelerated computing technologies into ready-to-use infrastructure.

Both parties are working together to establish a more agile path for transitioning from the NVIDIA accelerated computing technology to the AI system in the production environment, helping Verda to expand its capacity more quickly, while maintaining the reliability and scalability of the infrastructure required for global growth.

This new phase is supported by SGX30-2 of Compal. The product is based on the NVIDIA HGX B300 system, which is equipped with eight NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPU. This platform is specifically designed for high-density AI workloads and provides the next generation of computing power for the continuously expanding AI infrastructure of Verda.

Verda Chief Operating Officer Jorge Santos stated: "Our mission is to build the next generation of AI cloud infrastructure to support top-tier developers. Compal has provided us with the manufacturing capabilities to deploy our production closer to our customers, as well as the technical expertise to achieve this goal without compromising on quality or speed, helping us to expand our AI infrastructure on a global scale."

Compal, Vice President of the Infrastructure Solutions Business Unit, stated: "Our investments in manufacturing globally are aimed at helping customers navigate the transition of AI infrastructure from rapid innovation to large-scale deployment. By combining the technical capabilities and manufacturing layouts of Compal with Verda's expertise in cloud and operations, we are able to respond more quickly to regional needs and accelerate the implementation of the next generation of AI infrastructure."

Cooperation further advances on GTC Berlin 2026

GTC Berlin 2026 marks the next chapter in the collaboration between Verda and Compal, bringing both parties' shared vision for scalable AI infrastructure into Europe's rapidly growing AI ecosystem. Both parties will work together with customers and technical partners to explore how advanced computing power, regional manufacturing, and cloud operations can complement each other, thereby accelerating the global adoption of AI.
