Belay Diagnostics is a molecular diagnostics company focused on cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) biopsy testing for cancers of the central nervous system (CNS). The company announced on Wednesday that its team won the Foundry for Builders Buildcamp competition for the second consecutive year.

During this two-day competition, a team of four from Belay developed an interactive molecular case review prototype aimed at integrating a comprehensive patient's medical history with the results of CSF liquid biopsy tests from Belay onto a single interactive timeline. This application is designed to assist neurooncologists and other specialists in collaboratively reviewing complex cases and evaluating findings at both clinical and molecular levels.

This event, which is only open to invited participants, took place in September at the office of Palantir located in New York City. Participating organizations were required to use the software from Palantir to develop viable solutions for real-world business problems. Belay won this time, following their victory in Buildcamp in 2025; at that time, the company developed an application that helped automate insurance claims processes by comparing payment policies with individual patients' medical histories.

Both of these applications are developed using a proprietary platform built on Palantir Foundry, which is in turn based on Belay. In addition to Buildcamp, the company also utilizes this platform to integrate clinical, laboratory, and business operational data, incorporate artificial intelligence into processes, and develop customized applications that can simplify workflows. This integrated infrastructure supports CSF liquid biopsy tests for Belay; these tests provide molecular-level information that helps guide the diagnosis and management of primary and metastatic CNS cancers, and they do not require tissue samples.

Before this award, Belay had just completed the SOC 2 certification, which was obtained after an independent review of its control measures. The company stated that this certification reflects its investment in protecting sensitive information and in building infrastructure that supports growth.

Belay Diagnostics, co-founder and CEO, and Brian Coe stated: "Winning for two consecutive years reflects the creativity of our team, as well as their ability to utilize the power of the Palantir platform to provide critical capabilities for patients and doctors who rely on us. As Belay continues to grow, we will continue to innovate and develop a range of tools that enhance clinical trial capabilities, serve the frontlines of nursing, and transform revenue cycle management; the latter is already in use within Belay."

About Belay Diagnostics

The company utilizes technology authorized by Johns Hopkins University and has over 10 years of scientific research support behind it. They have developed and validated three proprietary CSF liquid biopsy tests: Belay Summit ™ 2.0, Belay Ascent ™, and Belay Vantage ™. These tests help guide the diagnosis and management of primary and metastatic CNS malignant tumors. Belay tests can provide comprehensive molecular information through standard lumbar punctures, with a turnaround time of 6 to 8 calendar days, without the need for tissue samples. U.S. President Donald Trump issued a series of tweets on Truth Social on Tuesday evening, blaming Fox News for the Republican Party's defeat in the historic midterms and stating that the channel's ratings had plummeted. Fox News did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Last week, Fox reported that its average audience in October was 1.1 million, a decrease of about 27% year-on-year; Fox Corporation CEO Rupert Murdoch attributed this change to "audience fatigue" during a financial report conference call and stated that viewers had not switched to other news channels.
