Berlin, October 21 (Reuters) / PR Newswire / — During the NVIDIA GTC Berlin conference, the open device management platform Fleet Device Management announced today that it supports the entire AI hardware ecosystem of NVIDIA, enabling enterprises to manage NVIDIA RTX PRO workstations and NVIDIA DGX Station devices together with the macOS, Windows, and Linux devices already in their existing environments.

NVIDIA DGX Station is known as the "ultimate desktop-level AI supercomputer," used for building and running AI. This system is equipped with NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip and comes with 748 GB of unified memory, which can accelerate large-scale AI development, inference, agent AI, and data science workloads.

At the time of this announcement, the NVIDIA GTC Berlin Conference is showcasing the expanding role of AI hardware in enterprises. NVIDIA RTX PRO workstations and NVIDIA DGX Station systems have brought data center-level capabilities to a wider range of professional environments and work processes.

Fleet, the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder, stated: "The AI workstation is now the enterprise terminal, simple and clear. The team still needs to know what is running, what has vulnerabilities, and what has changed. They already have a lot to handle and should not have to set up a new management stack for each new AI infrastructure. They should be able to manage the AI workstation from one place just like they manage other devices, and gain the same visibility and control. This update is precisely for that purpose."

NVIDIA, the Vice President in charge of the enterprise platform, stated: " NVIDIA is directly bringing powerful AI computing power to developers, creators, engineers, and enterprise teams, enabling them to build and run advanced AI workloads locally. The support for NVIDIA DGX Station and NVIDIA RTX PRO workstations provides organizations with a unified way to deploy and manage their AI systems, which helps to accelerate the adoption of AI within enterprises."

Fleet indicates that IT and the security team can view and manage these systems in one place, including operating systems, hardware, software, software packages, security controls, and vulnerabilities. This helps the organization understand where AI computing resources are running, as well as whether the underlying devices are secure and compliant.

Fleet also indicates that enterprises can manage policies, configurations, deployment batches, reports, and remediation measures through the reviewable workflows in Git. Instead of creating ad-hoc processes for the constantly emerging and evolving AI systems, it is better to allow the IT team to have consistent and auditable control throughout the device lifecycle. This means that as NVIDIA hardware occupies a larger proportion of the enterprise infrastructure, related changes will become visible, auditable, and reversible.
